The Wedding Timeline Example

We know there’s a lot that goes into a wedding timeline. Here’s a great example to look at feel free to copy and paste these items with your coordinating times into your wedding questionnaire.

Getting Ready (address)

10:00am – hair and makeup begin
12:00pm – photographer brent arrives
12:10pm – photo details of dress hanging, jewelry, invitation, flowers, etc
12:30pm – hair and makeup final touches for bride

Getting Dressed (address)

12:30pm – second photographer arrives
12:45pm – groom getting dressed photos
1:00pm – bride and bridesmaids group photo robes
1:10 pm – bride gets in dress

First Look (address)

1:30 pm – bride first look with parents
1:45 pm – first look bride & groom
1:50 pm – photos of bride & groom with bridal party
2:10 pm – photos of just bride & groom

Ceremony (address)

2:30pm – Leave for ceremony location (15 minute drive in bus)
2:45pm – Arrive at ceremony location – bride & bridesmaids hide in back room, groomsmen help seat guests
3:00pm – music starts for guests to be seated
3:15pmĀ  – bridal party walks (groom & officiant, grand parents, parents, bridal party) to Forever by Chris Brown
3:18pm – doors close and bride walks escorted by michael scott
30 minute long ceremony (2 readings, lighting candle, tying rope knot)
3:50pm – officiant announces for guest to meet the couple at the reception location
4:00pm – immediate family photos at ceremony alter (photo list should be provided)
4:30pm – leave ceremony location (10 min bus ride to photo location)

In-between photos (address, street, city zip)

4:40pm – photos with group and bride and groom at first location (bridge, bench, waterfall, low hanging trees)
5:40pm – leave photo location head to reception (10 min bus ride)

Reception (address)

6:10pm – introductions
6:15pm – toasts and dinner blessing at head table
6:30pm – dinner served
7:15pm – cut cake
7:30pm – first dances
7:40pm – dance floor open
8:45pm – bouquet & garter toss
9:45pm – sparkler send off
10:00pm – last song, photo team leaves
